Microsoft kondigde recent een Teams Pro licentie aan<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>
\nZoals\u00a0<\/span>vast\u00a0<\/span>vele<\/span>\u00a0anderen<\/span>\u00a0dacht ik eerst “O<\/span>h\u00a0<\/span>jee,\u00a0<\/span>het zal toch niet\u00a0<\/span>zo\u00a0<\/span>zijn dat\u00a0<\/span>de\u00a0<\/span>werking<\/span>\u00a0van Teams<\/span>\u00a0uitgekleed wordt<\/span>\u00a0voor\u00a0<\/span>de\u00a0<\/span>normale licenties en we moeten gaan bijbetalen voor de huidig<\/span>e\u00a0<\/span>funct<\/span>ionaliteit?”<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

De in eerste instantie erg onduidelijke\u00a0<\/span>berichtgeving\u00a0<\/span>vanuit Microsoft\u00a0<\/span>maakte menig lezer onrustig<\/span>. Gelukkig volgde een paar dagen<\/span>\u00a0later, op vrijdag 12 februari,<\/span>\u00a0een duidelijker verhaal.<\/span>
\nA<\/span>lvast:\u00a0<\/span>Nee, we gaan niet meer betalen voor hetzelfde!<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wat\u00a0<\/span>houdt de Teams Pro licentie\u00a0<\/span>dan wel<\/span>\u00a0in<\/span>?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Voor zover nu bekend biedt\u00a0<\/span>Microsoft met de Teams Pro licentie<\/span>\u00a0meer mogelijkheden voor beheerders om bepaalde functionaliteit in Teams wel beschikbaar te stellen aan gebruiker A, maar niet aan gebruiker B.\u00a0<\/span>
\nOm te beginnen\u00a0<\/span>heeft<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>he<\/span>t betrekking op de functionaliteit om\u00a0webinars\u00a0te organiseren.<\/span>\u00a0Dat hoeft\u00a0<\/span>inderdaad\u00a0<\/span>niet iedereen in de organisatie te kunnen<\/span>\u00a0doen<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Door\u00a0<\/span>een beperktere\u00a0<\/span>Teams licentie\u00a0<\/span>aan<\/span>\u00a0de ene gebruikersgroep\u00a0<\/span>toe te wijzen<\/span>, en de Teams Pro licentie\u00a0<\/span>aan<\/span>\u00a0de andere groep, bepaal je wie de meest uitgebreide functionaliteit in Teams krijgt en wie niet.<\/span>
\nIT Beheerders\u00a0<\/span>reageren hierop<\/span>\u00a0vast met<\/span>:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
\n“<\/span>Waarom doen we dat niet met\u00a0<\/span>Group\u00a0P<\/span>olicies?<\/span>“<\/span>.<\/span>
\nSimpel antwoord:\u00a0<\/span>
\n“<\/span>Zodat de minder technische beheerders, zoals ondergetekende, er ook makkelijk mee uit de voeten kunnen!<\/span>“<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wat moet er gedaan worden?<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Niets! D<\/span>e Teams Pro licentie\u00a0<\/span>komt de komende maanden (maart\/april 2021)\u00a0<\/span>automatisch beschikbaar voor gebruikers met een licentie voor<\/span>:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Microsoft 365\u00a0<\/span>en<\/span>\u00a0Office 365 E5\/E3\/A5\/A3<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Microsoft 365 Business Standard<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Microsoft 365\u00a0<\/span>Business Premium<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Zoals het er nu naar uit ziet zal de Teams Pro licentie<\/span>\u00a0standaard toegewezen zijn aan de huidige gebruikers<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>met bovengenoemde licenties<\/span>. De beheerder krijgt\u00a0<\/span>vervolgens\u00a0<\/span>de mogelijkheid om deze\u00a0<\/span>Teams Pro licentie\u00a0<\/span>uit te schakelen en de beperktere Teams licentie toe te wijzen.<\/span>
    \nMaar, het kan net zo goed andersom zijn!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
