Cloudcomputing is hot.\u00a0<\/em>Het lijkt wel of je er niet meer bij hoort als je als organisatie nog niet bent overgestapt. Maar moet je wel over naar de cloud? En waarom eigenlijk? Waarom kun je niet alles gewoon bij het oude laten? Is het wel veilig? Hoe krijg ik mijn mensen mee? In deze blog vertelt Luuk van den Ende hoe de cloud bij kan dragen aan happy users.<\/em><\/p>\n

Beweeg!<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Iedereen heeft het over de cloud. Het voelt bijna als een \u2018no go\u2019 om te zeggen dat je alles liever bij het oude houdt. Natuurlijk voelt de huidige manier van werken binnen jouw organisatie als afdoende. Zolang je geen grote problemen hebt, en het kost je niet te veel, kun je alles laten zoals het is. Maar draai het eens om: wat zou er gebeuren als je de overstap wel maakt? De kans is groot dat je \u2013 net als mijn collega\u2019s en ik \u2013 ook elke twee jaar een ander mobiel abonnement neemt, inclusief nieuwe telefoon met allerlei nieuwe foefjes. Je telefoon verbinden met je tv waardoor je films kan streamen? Heerlijk! Met vrienden door een fotoalbum bladeren met SharePlay? Super! Kijk ook eens zo naar je IT en kies voor een omgeving die je meer functionaliteiten biedt.<\/p>\n

Gemak dient de mens<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Neem alleen al het eenvoudig samenwerken aan bestanden in de cloud. Uiteraard kun je bestanden maken en mailen aan vier van je collega\u2019s met de vraag om feedback. Maar of het heel effici\u00ebnt is? Zie van die vier versies die je teruggemaild krijgt maar weer \u00e9\u00e9n versie te maken. Bied je serviceverlening via afspraken, zoals een kapsalon, een tandartspraktijk of een advocatenkantoor, dan is een online en realtime reserveringssysteem zoals\u00a0Microsoft Bookings<\/a>\u00a0een verademing. Met een slimme cloudoplossing kun je in bepaalde gevallen zelfs kiezen voor een remote consult. Voor een kapper wordt dat wat lastig, maar ik had laatst een gesprek met een fysiotherapeutenpraktijk die dit als optie aan hun cli\u00ebnten willen gaan aanbieden. Ondersteuning via een Microsoft Teams-sessie, die wordt opgenomen en die de cli\u00ebnt automatisch als video krijgt toegestuurd. Gemak dient de mens.<\/p>\n

Veiligheid voorop<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Binnen veel organisaties leeft nog de angst dat de cloud niet veilig is. Maar neem van ons aan, veel veiliger dan in de cloud wordt het niet. Zoals mijn collega Myron al\u00a0eerder schreef in een van zijn blogs, houdt old skool security op bij de voordeur. Met alle security-features die Microsoft biedt, kun je je IT-omgeving veel slimmer beveiligen. Voorkomen dat bepaalde typen bestanden gedeeld kunnen worden met andere organisaties? Check! Wil je dat bepaalde documenten niet geprint of gekopieerd mogen worden? Zo geregeld! Natuurlijk kan iemand een foto van een beeldscherm maken of een bestand overtypen, maar de drempel wordt op die manier wel erg hoog. En gooit iemand per ongeluk een kop koffie over z\u2019n laptop? Geen probleem! Je laat met spoed een nieuwe laptop opsturen en twee uur later klapt je medewerker de nieuwe laptop open, logt in en kan weer aan de slag.<\/p>\n

Nieuwsgierig?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Je weet niet beter tot je de overstap maakt. Vind je het toch nog spannend? Je kunt ook klein beginnen met een pilot en van daaruit verder uitbouwen.\u00a0Voor welke oplossing je ook kiest, zorg dat ook je medewerkers er happy van worden!
